Ask us directlyHow much does it cost to register a trademark?
Our filing service starts at a fixed fee of HKD 5,800 per mark, plus official fees. At the Hong Kong Trade Marks Registry the official fee is HKD 2,000 for one class and HKD 1,000 for each additional class; at the EUIPO it is about HKD 7,500 for one class. We confirm the full cost in writing before we start.
How long does registration take?
Clearance searches take three to five working days. In Hong Kong, a straightforward application usually registers in about six months; in the EU, four to six months. International filings through the Madrid System can take 12 to 18 months, depending on the country.
Do I need a trademark before I launch?
Ideally, file before you announce. Filing gives you a priority date, and in most countries the first to file has the stronger claim. At the very least, run a clearance search so you know the name is safe to use.
What's in the Startup Trademark Package?
A clearance search in your home market, one trademark filing in up to two classes, and a founders' IP assignment so the company owns what you've built. One fixed fee, quoted upfront.
Can you help if someone is copying my brand?
Yes. We handle oppositions, cease-and-desist letters, marketplace takedowns and domain name disputes. Most matters settle at the letter stage.
